At Opstarts we’re focused on making financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for your business simple, efficient, and accurate. Today we’re launching our next evolution, putting a financial reporting library of charts and tables at your fingertips – all automatically generated from a single financial model.
We’ve replaced the Overview, Revenue, and Expense screens in Opstarts with a left sidebar menu of charts and tables. To create your custom financial dashboard, just star any of the charts or reports to put them in your Favorites section at the top of the list. And you can customize any of the report tables with whatever fields you like.
After your Favorites, the first category of reports are a set of Overview reports.
Financial Overview – a set of summary charts (cash overview for Basic, cash and accrual for Pro)
Income Statement – currently enabled for Pro, a cash-basis Income statement for Basic is coming soon
Cash Flow – a standard cash flow report
Revenue overview charts and detail tables are provided on a cash, MRR, and ARR basis. Pro subscriptions also include accrual and bookings reports.
Additional revenue reports include a Sales Overview and Growth Summary.
Similar to the revenue reports, expense reports include overview charts and detail tables. Additionally, staff/employee expense vs other expense breakdown reports are included.
SaaS revenue and subscriber overviews are available in either MRR or ARR mode. SaaS Business Detail tables provide detailed SaaS revenue and subscriber breakdowns. For Pro subscribers, SaaS Summary tables and SaaS Metrics Overview reports provide key SaaS metrics for your business. To drill down deeper into SaaS metrics, switch to the Metrics module from the top menu.
